This assessment piece is worth 20% of the total available marks for this course. The purpose of this piece of assessment is to show that you really understand the key concepts in this course. So much so that you are fully aware of why or why not a particular ERP should continue or not. Additionally, as a graduate you should feel comfortable presenting the knowledge you have learnt in your studies. As such ensure that you are well prepared. This will only add to your confidence in such a situation.
You should prepare a 5 minute oral presentation. This presentation should argue the opposing side of the argument that you developed in your case study. The audience you are aiming this for is senior executives. As such you should come across as a professional. Visual aids and hand-outs (where appropriate) will help you in this endeavor.
For the actual content of the presentation you should focus on delivering a 'winning argument'. That is, you should convince your audience that you are right. One method I find useful in preparing an argument is to begin by asking myself these four simple questions:
