Examination
The end-of-semester examination will be CLOSED BOOK, and will consist of seven questions. Students may answer ANY FIVE OUT OF SEVEN. Each question will be worth 12 marks, making a maximum possible mark of 60. If more than five questions are answered, only the best five will be counted.
The examination will be OF 2 HOURS DURATION. Calculators are not permitted.
Questions will be in a variety of formats, and may range over the whole content of the course. Sample past examinations are available by following the links from the Resources page.

In order to be eligible for a passing grade, students must score at least 50% overall, and at least 50% (30 out of 60) in the examination. In cases where students score less than 50% in the examination, a Fail grade will be recorded, and the final score will be based on the examination component alone.
